Department

There are 12 undergraduate and graduate specialties: Clinical Medicine/M.B.B.S , imaging Medicine, laboratory Medicine, stomatology, anesthesiology, nursing , combined Chinese and Western Medicine, Forensics, ophthalmology, biomedical engineering ,health service management, Medical English and 9 three-year program specialties including clinical Medicine, 7 research departments including preclinical and Clinical Medicine schools, and 39 teaching hospitals, 10 of which are level 3-A, top rank in china.

Faculty

The University has over 500 members of the faculty holding Master’s or Doctorates degree. More than 350 faculties have obtained the academic title of Associate Professor and Professor. In addition, there are 70 returned scholars and experts from abroad.

Achievements

In recent vears, the college has undertaken 8 national research projects, 5 projects taken over from the ministry of Education, Ministry of Public Health and state Chinese Medicine Administration, and 238 provincial key and scientific research projects, and won 52 prizes, including 28 provincial prizes topping all the colleges in Sichuan province. It has published 3100 scientific research projects, 58 treatises and 54 papers have been embodies by SCI and ET.

Recently, the staff is the is of one heart and pooling wisdom and efforts to make a first-classmedical university developing medical courses and career, which make a harmonious impact on Sichuan province , China, and the world.

Library

NSMU Library fully caters to the needs of students and teachings and teachers with courses and reference books. Its well stocked lirary with plenary scale of English textbooks, reference books and resource center includes over 950.000 books and has subscribed to more than 1.800 Chinese and foreign periodicals in addition to over 17,000 electronic periodicals both in the Chinese and foreign languages, Students are always encouraged to make maximum use of the library facilities.

Duration: 5 Years (4 Years Study + 1 Year Internship)

The Clinical Medicine/MBBS program in North Sichuan Medical University education program specifically designed for the international students who wish to pursue a medical bachelor degree in China. The overall goal of this program is to develop extensive medical knowledge and laid a solid foundation for their further studies in any medical branch for medical graduates. Special requirements of other countries where most of the students originally come from are also taken on a school’s existing, pre-clinic and clinic stage.

Facilities for International Students

Hostel Facilities

Well-appointed hostels with fully furnished Air-conditional rooms made for international students. Rooms are furnished with beds, study tables , internet access , and air conditioning. The hostels are given good protection by security agencies and police booths in the University.

Muslim Food

Halal Food is available. Muslim restaurants are available. Students can choose to take their Halal meals (breakfast , lunch , supper and all kinds of snacks) at very reasonable cost.

Sports

The university has standard 400M synthetic track sports field and aslo has various kinds of sports venues and Facilities, including stadiums , venues for track and field events , swimming pools , and etc. A gymnasium provide students with an opportunity to do in-door physical exercises.
